Join Mark Glavina for a 16 day adventure in this fascinating location, discovering insights into the geographic, cultural, and religious connections between Europe and Africa, east and west, past and present.  Our art travel will take us from the Cultural Mecca of  Marrakesh to the port city of Essaouira, continuing  north through Casablanca and Rebat en route to Chefchaouen and Fes, before making our way to Merzouga and the gateway to the Sahara desert.  Our tour meanders through time, cultures, and stunning landscapes, providing lots of opportunity for drawing, painting, and absorbing as much of the creative culture as possible while recording our own personal visual journey.  As part of our art experience we are going to create our on journals with Moroccan leather filled with our own notes, drawings and materials collected along our artistic adventure.
