Our tour begins in the beautiful capital city of Zagreb before making our way to the coastal city of Zadar and then Split; this medieval fortress city with her Diocletian Palace and Roman Ruins will dazzle your senses. We continue our Dalmation coastal odyssey taking a ferry to the Islands of Brač and Hvar before our final destination; the walled city of Dubrovnik. Zagreb

Our tour begins in the beautiful Croatian capital of Zagreb, offering historical monuments and iconic medieval architecture balanced with modern metropolitan city planing including parks and pedestrian zones. This city has managed to preserve its cultural and historical heritage as it emerges as a major tourist destination. The unique blend of medieval towers, 19th century palaces, open-air markets, and ancient Cathedrals, make Zagreb the perfect city start our art tour.

Zadar is a historic old town of Roman ruins, medieval churches, cosmopolitan cafes and quality museums set on a small peninsula. On route to Zadar we stop in Plitvice Lakes National Park the largest national park in Croatia. It became a part of UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979.

Split lies on the eastern shore of the Adriatic Sea and is spread over a central peninsula and its surroundings. An intraregional transport hub and popular tourist destination, the city is linked to the Adriatic islands and the Apennine peninsula.

Mark Glavina

Mark Glavina Mark Glavina studied Graphic Design and Illustration at Capilano College and has worked as a teacher and illustrator with various contracts, including background painting for animation as well as private contracts and commissions, and has established a reputation as a muralist. In the 90’s he turned to developing his own fine art, exploring environmental and cultural issues, as well as working with the figure and portrait. Mark has been teaching and facilitating art for over 20 years, encouraging the benefits of art education for all ages, and is a pioneer of Community Public Art.
